KMOJ Morning Show Interview: Freddie Bell & Heather Baimbridge-Cox

Freddie Bell was honored to speak with Heather Braimbridge-Cox, the first Black
woman to serve as President and Chief Executive Officer of Windings, Inc., one of
the largest employee-owned companies in Minnesota.

Heather was with us today to talk about the growth of employee-owned businesses
in Minnesota, as well as share with us her personal journey with employee ownership.

“Here in an employee-owned company, I can leverage my background and experience to deliver growth over time, and I am doing this for not just a select few people to benefit, but for everyone that works for the company.”

“In an ESOP, everyone benefits. Everyone has a stake in the outcome. And that to me, was the embodiment of the American dream".”
